terms of service

upon participating in the species,

<aside> 💡 this includes… purchasing a goob, entering/participating in a goob competition, trading/gifting or being traded/gifted a goob, using the nursery/scented goos booth, creating adopts, creating customs or using any goob species items, creating a growths/transfer, creating artist entries, partaking in an event, or otherwise using any other facets and features of the goobies species.

and/or otherwise becoming a figure present in our community, you automatically agree to the following rules listed in this post, and are thus responsible for upholding our rules and being a good member of the community.

failure to follow rules and terms of service may result in warnings, karma loss, or even a ban.

punishments such as warnings, karma loss, and ban occur at the discretion of the staff team, and depend on the complexity of the situation as well as the severity of the broken rule.

if you feel you have been wrongfully punished, you may submit an appeal to an admin or a senior staff member.

general rules

goobies are a closed species. you may not make your own without permission or the appropriate items.
be kind, respectful, and patient with all members of the community, staff and otherwise.
harassment, bullying, bribing, favoritism, or otherwise purposefully abusing or “working around” our systems is not tolerated.
art theft and design theft of any kind are forbidden. this is also a rule enforced by many websites and laws.
excessive bumping of competitions is not appreciated. the staff team can take up to a month to judge if needed.
whining, begging, and other behaviors that can be seen as unnecessarily negative or rude are not appreciated.
for paid contests, you have 48 hours from the completed judging to pay.
rules are subject to change or be added to at the admins discretion.
